A presentation doesn’t have to come with a nice slidedeck, in other settings it might be more beneficial to use whiteboards, flipcharts or any kind of interactive performance. The use of infographics and other graphics as part of the strategic communication portfolio is on the rise and being able to visually explain your messages has never been more important. Use of professional graphic recorders for seminars, keynotes or training is becoming more common and a way to visually interpret and record what is being said and discussed.
You don’t have to be able to make complicated infographics to explain visually – simple stick figures and arrows can take you pretty far. Presentations and meetings making use of visual recording in any form can be just as professional – and effective – as with slide decks. If you thought you made your last drawing in Kindergarten, think again. Bring out your markers (or steal them from your kids)!
