For the next five days I’ll trek around Austin, TX, participating in SXSWi. 32 sessions (!) on storytelling, content, visualization, innovation are in my schedule. I hope to fill my head with inspiration, new thoughts, ideas and actions for the upcoming year. When others collect rare stamps or Jimmy Choos shoes I collect visual communication examples. I’m constantly hunting for stories about successful or inspirational visualizations – online and offline – and I save them to my online journal.
I’m humbled that my journal was mentioned as one of 15 visual communications blogs to inspire great presentations by the SlideRocket Blog – among 14 other blogs I love to read and being inspired by. All of these have great stories and posts about visual communication in different forms, written by people whose work I admire – Nancy Duarte, Dan Roam, Dave Gray, Garr Reynolds, Jessica Hagy – just to mention a few of them. And not to forget the SlideRocket blog itself – a great resource of presentations and visual communication.

Don’t you just love new technology in action, making life a little bit more fun and interesting? I do – I’m like a child in a candy store wanting to try it all out. The candy today was the Fuel Brand Network’s Evernotes notes. I happened to step by Evernote’s Trunk pages and found these notes (http://bit.ly/cU3wWd), and downloaded them into my notes and hep – something inspiring to read next time I’m sitting on that train with lots of time. The only thing missing now is more train rides to read, test and enjoy all this new content that come my way…
I’m a big Evernote fan (ever since Google called off their Notebook) and keep everything organized in there – ideas, links, thoughts, reminding photos. And now I have some Fuel notes too. Great day!
